I’ve always hated my nose and was called Concorde for years in high school (not that my kids even know what Concorde is!) I desperately wanted surgery but after watching various blood thirsty documentaries on the procedure I decided that I could live with it. Far too much bone sawing and stitching for my liking. OK I’m a wimp, I admit it but I just embraced the name calling and learned the fine art of sarcasm.
So when I did my advanced filler training, which included non-surgical rhinoplasty (it’s the non-surgical bit that really appealed to me!) I asked my amazing trainer if she could do anything for me and she said probably not as it would take years of therapy but she could reshape my nose.😂😂
What does this consist of you ask? Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a medical procedure in which injectable fillers, most commonly hyaluronic acid ones are used to alter and shape the nose without invasive surgery. The procedure fills in depressed areas on the nose, lifting the angle of the tip or smoothing the appearance of bumps on the bridge. Non surgical rhinoplasty is an augmentation procedure, so it cannot reduce the size of someone’s nose. It is purely a cosmetic procedure.
